We have an exciting opportunity for a Merchandiser role in a China-based Manufacturing company. It is a company that specializes in the design and production of dinnerware that showcases artistic taste through superb designs. The merchandiser will oversee shipments, guarantee on-time shipping, ensure sales trends are being followed, analyze sales performance, and make recommendations.

Job Requirements:

At least 2 years of experience in merchandise positions, along with a track record of success.
Strong business awareness and analytical thinking abilities.
Proven delivery of effective stock control.
Strong written and spoken persuasion abilities.
Ability to prioritize and multitask to achieve goals.
Complete buying and procurement processes.
Detail-oriented and precise.
Strong numerical abilities.
Interested in homewares or the fashion industry
Resilience and a can-do attitude are required.
Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills are required.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

Critical Path Management makes sure shipping is on time and is updated as modifications are agreed upon - i.e. price, shipment, volume, etc.
Maintaining and expanding customer relationships, as well as offering outstanding customer service.
Assisting with day-to-day administrative tasks such as completing quotations and chasing down cost models.
Assist with the supply chain procedure through order to shipment.
General management tasks including chasing down various stakeholders and sending out maintenance packages when needed.
Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Develop and implement commodity plans for a diverse customer base.
Monitor sales patterns, analyze revenue growth, and stock levels for high-profile customers, and make proposals to management.
