We have an exciting opportunity for an Operating Assistant role in a London-based fast-growing logistics/transport company. They are seeking an operations assistant for their Isleworth site to aid the bustling transport office and warehouse team, guaranteeing smooth daily operations.
Job Requirements:
- Proficiency in computer software like MS Office is required, and training will be offered for utilizing internal systems.
- Effective communication skills with confidence are essential.
- Being highly organized and capable of multitasking is a must, along with the ability to work independently.
- Prioritization skills are necessary to manage workload effectively.
- Familiarity with the shipping industry would be advantageous, and experience in warehouse and office settings is preferred.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is also preferred.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Tasks include creating warehouse and transport documents as well as labels, and scanning and uploading documents to the WMS.
- Providing customer service.
- Coordinating with the warehouse, and organizing documents.
- Sending completed job reports to the finance department.
- Managing inbound and outbound jobs.
- Receiving job bookings from customers.
- Updating spreadsheets, and handling rework of returned goods which involves warehouse duties.
