We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager role in a Technology, Information, and Internet company based in Beijing. With more than 500 million downloads worldwide, it is a top global publisher of casual and hyper-casual mobile games. A Business Development Manager will play a crucial role in managing a substantial portion of the publishing operations both in China and internationally. This position offers the chance to collaborate with hybrid casual and casual mobile game studios worldwide and participate in the essential aspects of game distribution.
Job Requirements:
- Over 3 years of experience as a business development professional in the game industry.
- Extensive connections and resources with international developers in the gaming sector.
- Excellent business negotiation and cross-team communication skills.
- Fluent in both English and Chinese, with the ability to use both as working languages.
- Capability to work effectively in a challenging environment and remote or work-from-home settings.
- Strong passion for mobile games and the gaming industry overall.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee a significant portion of the game publishing business, establishing a robust network of contacts within the global mobile game market.
- Collaborate directly with game studios to co-develop and/or publish their games in the Chinese market and worldwide.
- Build and maintain trusting relationships with studios, providing onboarding, coaching, and support throughout the game publishing process.
- Enhance the brand presence in the US and European mobile game markets to increase brand awareness among local developers.
- Maintain efficient and timely communication with headquarters to discuss and implement the company's latest business strategies and directions.
- Stay updated with the latest market trends.
