We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Manager role in a Real Estate company based in London. They are looking for outstanding and motivated individuals to join their welcoming Client Accounts. 

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in a real estate or property rental agency is required.
  • While qualifying for Accounting or a related field (such as ACCA, CIMA, AAT, ICAEW, CIPFA, IFA, or a degree in Accounting or Finance) is preferred, it is not mandatory. 
  • The candidate should possess a keen attention to detail and accuracy, along with strong organizational and mathematical skills.
  • Being a collaborative team player is essential, and proficiency in using a MacBook and iPhone is required. 
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is necessary.
  • While an ARLA qualification is desirable, it is not a strict requirement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are crucial.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin and Cantonese is advantageous but not obligatory. 
  • The candidate should also demonstrate the ability to multitask, organize, prioritize work, and remain composed under pressure.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Accurately recording rental payments and making daily disbursements to landlords.
  • Ensuring compliance with deposit protection regulations and related obligations.
  • Actively pursuing resolution of tenant rental arrears and updating landlords accordingly.
  • Overseeing and maintaining Service Charge funds for each property. Handling utility bill management on behalf of landlords.
  • Maintaining comprehensive property and tenant databases for all clients.
  • Completing Non-Resident Landlord Taxation Returns on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Conducting audits on Lettings and Property Management teams through the creation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
  • Collaborating with Letting and Property Management Departments for seamless communication.
  • Managing the processing of invoices, payments, bank reconciliations, and debt collection.
  • Calculating and processing commissions for consultants. Conducting general business and tax accounting tasks for the company.
