We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Accountant for a US-based Software Development firm. They are seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join the accounting team. The ideal candidate will be crucial in the monthly and annual financial closing.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel.
- Skilled in using QuickBooks.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- High attention to detail and capability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual in English and Chinese (required).
- US work authorization (required).
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and finalizing monthly and annual financial statements.
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entry preparation and account reconciliations.
- Help maintain precise and comprehensive financial records.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance and streamline accounting processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and analysis as needed.
- Participate in the audit process, providing necessary information and documentation to auditors.
- Engage in continuous knowledge development regarding industry rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques, and performance standards.
