We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Assistant role in a London-based fast-food retail company. The company specializes in unlicensed restaurants and cafes, focusing on Taiwanese fried chicken. They are looking for an accounting assistant to join their team.
Job Requirements :
- Experienced in UK accounting with a solid understanding of the fundamental financial processes of UK companies.
- Holds or is in the process of obtaining an accounting license.
- Business-level fluency in Chinese and English (spoken and written).
- Fully available for on-site work throughout weekdays.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Assisting with payroll processing for restaurant staff, ensuring accuracy in wages, overtime, and tips.
- Calculating and processing employee benefits, bonuses, and deductions.
- Assisting in tracking food and supply costs to maintain profitability.
- Recording daily sales and reconciling with POS (Point-of-Sale) system reports.
- Managing cash handling reports and ensuring proper deposit procedures.
- Handling financial queries from suppliers, employees, and management.
- Maintaining organized records of invoices, payroll, and expenses.
- Supporting the finance team in ad hoc accounting tasks.
