We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Director role in a China-based Appliances and Electronics Manufacturing company. The company, a global leader in mini electric ball valves, with strong R&D, quality, and supply chain capabilities, is establishing a US subsidiary. They seek an experienced Sales Director to drive market growth, build a local team, and oversee full subsidiary operations.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience in the mini electric ball valve or fluid control equipment sector, with strong knowledge of technical parameters, applications, and industry standards
  • Proven expertise in digital marketing, including Google Ads, SEO, and Amazon Seller Central operations, with familiarity in US market strategies
  • US citizenship preferred, with proficiency in US commercial law, tax compliance, and company registration; willingness to act as the legal representative of the US subsidiary and oversee commercial activities
  • Strong record of leading sales teams to achieve targets and grow market share; prior experience in establishing or operating US-based companies is advantageous
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, with the ability to build and manage high-performing teams and independently oversee subsidiary operations
  • Native-level English proficiency; Chinese language skills considered an asset
  • Knowledge of US business culture, market practices, and industry regulations; adaptable to entrepreneurial environments and open to travel across the USA as required

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for the US market to achieve revenue and market share objectives for mini electric ball valves
  • Lead the setup and compliant operation of the US subsidiary, including registration, team development, business structure, and integration of local resources; act as the legal representative with authority over contracts, partnerships, marketing initiatives, and operational expenditures
  • Drive product promotion, brand awareness, and customer acquisition through digital platforms such as Google and Amazon, optimizing online marketing to increase visibility and conversion rates
  • Conduct market research to monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs, adjusting sales plans and product positioning accordingly
  • Build and sustain relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners across industrial automation, water treatment, HVAC, and medical equipment sectors
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and negotiation to contract execution and post-sales support
  • Prepare sales reports, budgets, and market analyses to inform global strategy and decision-making
  • Ensure subsidiary operations comply with US laws, regulations, and tax requirements, while overseeing internal management systems and risk controls
