We have an exciting opportunity for a Conveyancing Solicitor role in a London-based law firm. They are seeking a qualified solicitors with extensive expertise in commercial and/or residential conveyancing, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, new builds, Help to Buy, and shared ownership schemes. The ideal candidates will have a proven track record of managing transactions from initial enquiry through to post-completion.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in commercial and/or residential conveyancing.
- Proven ability to manage heavy workloads and meet tight deadlines.
- Skilled in handling large caseloads efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
- Capable of working under pressure while achieving performance targets.
- Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with at least two years’ PQE.
- Proficiency in Chinese is preferred but not essential.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a personal caseload with efficiency and accountability.
- Deliver comprehensive and high-quality legal services to a diverse client base.
- Conduct client meetings, provide pragmatic legal advice, and accurately record client instructions.
- Offer clear guidance on applicable laws and legal issues relevant to each case.
- Supervise, mentor, and review the work of junior paralegals, trainees, and legal assistants.
- Draft, review, and finalize property-related legal documents, correspondence, and contracts tailored to client requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislative changes and developments in relevant areas of law.
