We have an opening for a Store Manager role in a London-based food retailer. The giant food retailer is searching for proactive, hands-on, and customer-focused individuals to work as Store Managers at its shop.
Job Requirements:
- Strong leadership abilities and a business mindset.
- Customer service abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Mandarin or Cantonese fluency in speaking and writing is required.
- Previous retail experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience working with high turnover stores.
- Self-assurance in performing hands-on tasks.
- Outstanding organizational and time management abilities.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United Kingdom.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the supervision of 30 to 50 employees.
- Execute financial management and budgeting;
- Ensure that stock is managed by the needs of daily sales;
- Conduct regular risk assessments for health and safety;
- Increase the understanding of local customers and competitors.
- Monitor the training of new employees to ensure the quality of service provided.
- Reach sales targets by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to sales personnel.
- Store administration and ensure policy and procedure compliance.
- Maintain excellent store condition and visual merchandising standards.
- Make innovative suggestions to increase market share.
- Conduct performance reviews of employees to determine training needs and create career pathways.
- Handle any issues that arise from employees or customers (complaints, grievances, etc.)
- When necessary, assist coworkers in all aspects.
