We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Engineer-consumer position in a UK-based IT consulting firm. They are looking for a talented Product Engineer - B2C to join their team. The role involves testing products, enhancing product performance, and offering technical support tailored to the UK and Ireland markets. The B2C product lineup includes Smart Home devices (primary focus), Home Wi-Fi Routers, Wi-Fi Boosters, and Broadband Access Devices.

Job Requirements:

  • Over 3 years of professional experience.
  • Hands-on QA/Testing expertise within an ICT company as part of a QA/Testing team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent education and work experience.
  • Solid knowledge of smart home technologies, networking systems, and testing methodologies.
  • Proficient debugging skills to enhance defect reporting.
  • Strong analytical, self-learning, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
  • Possesses a valid driver’s license.
  • Hold relevant certifications in ICT technologies.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, enhance, and implement test plans and test cases.
  • Conduct thorough product quality assessments, including comparisons with key competitors, and report findings.
  • Analyze feedback from sales teams, business partners, and consumers to identify product issues and bugs.
  • Prepare detailed reports on testing results and propose recommendations for improvement.
  • Perform tests in various environments, including offices, warehouses, and homes with specialized setups.
  • Collaborate with the headquarters support team to deliver presales and aftersales technical support to the sales team and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct product training sessions for sales, marketing, and operations teams, as well as for key customers.
  • Develop localized go-to-market strategies and design concepts to boost sales.
  • Handle additional tasks as assigned by the Head of the Product Team.
