We have an exciting opportunity for an Import LCL Operator in a logistics company based in Witham. They are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic individual with a minimum of two years of general forwarding experience to contribute to their busy import LCL department.
Job Requirements:
- Proficiency in English is needed.
- Leadership skills are also beneficial.
- Dedicated individuals who take responsibility for completing challenging tasks.
- A minimum of two years of experience in general forwarding is required.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinating import bookings for air, sea, and road shipments.
- Communicating with overseas offices and partners.
- Managing files from start to finish.
- Handling sales and purchase transactions.
- Preparing quotes for UK clients on LCL shipments.
- Providing quotes and managing shipments for multiple FBA (Amazon) clients.
- Recording new client bookings and pricing details in shared drives.
- Overseeing and maintaining key accounts.
- Generating invoices.
- Managing accounts for direct clients.
- Resolving customer queries and complaints promptly and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
