We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Conference Producer – Asian Launch Event role for a Event Services company based in London. Our client is a multinational, award winning event organisation. Their events promote innovation and technological advancements that improve people's lives. To make a difference, they collaborate with the world's leading businesses and innovators.As a Senior Conference Producer, you will be leading, creating and launching a large scale conference & exhibition in Asia.
Job Requirements:
- A graduate with a 2:1 or a 1st Degree
- Commercial conference production work experience where you have managed and developed at least one event from start to finish independently. Launch event experience would advantageous.
- We are looking for both English & mandarin language skills.
- Excellent communication skills, enjoy building relationships and developing understanding
- Confident talking over the phone, able to question & discuss topics with senior professionals
- Understanding of commercial business and how to grow revenues
- Excellent persuasion and negotiation skills
- Professional and credible over the phone and in person
- Inquisitive and creative nature
- Excellent research skills, content driven approach
- Project management skills; able to manage time, workload and internal stakeholders
- Experience of successfully meeting deadlines and budgets
- A ‘can-do’ attitude, positive solutions driven person who works hard to make things happen
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Launch a large scale B2B conference & Exhibition
- Research the commercial market to identify conference topics, themes, speakers etc
- Content development & strategy
- Develop a sponsorship sales strategy with the sales team
- Work with the marketing team to create a campaign which will engage the audience and attract attendees
- Building relationships with key industry professionals
- Create engaging, content driven and innovative agenda’s
- Drive the event forward, motivating and supporting the sponsorship sales, delegate sales, ops & marketing teams
- Commercial awareness when creating the agenda and the supporting strategy
- Collaborative team working, sharing updated and information
- When Covid19 permits you will attend the conference on the day, supporting the team, attendees and sponsors, currently you are onsite in a virtual fashion!
- Post event analysis
- Developing ideas for future events, strategies to grow your events and continue to improve the event experience year on year
- The event portfolio you will be joining are established with a strong history of success, this new launch will complement the European & US events.
